Project narrative

On January 8, 2021, China Meheco, a Chinese pharmaceutical company and subsidiary of China General Technology Group, donates 500,000 KN95 masks to Venezuela. The purpose of this donation is to support Venezuela's COVID-19 response efforts. The monetary value of this donation is unknown. A handover ceremony was held for this donation. The Venezuelan Ambassador to China, Félix Plasencia, attended the ceremony in Guangzhou.
