Project narrative

On May 17, 2021, the Chinese Government sent a shipment of 25 tons of medicines and supplies to Venezuela. The supplies included materials to repair respirators, injectors, drugs, and other equipment. The purpose of this donation is to support Venezuela’s COVID-19 response efforts. The monetary value of this donation is unknown. A handover ceremony was held for this donation at the Simón Bolívar International Airport.
