Project narrative

According to the Government of Kiribati's 2022 Development Budget, China will provide USD $480,666 for Phase I of the Teabike College Project in Kiribati. On February 6, 2022, there was a handover certification regarding the Teabike College Phase 1 Project that was signed by Honourable Vice President Dr Teuea Toatu and H.E. Ambassador Tang Songgen at the Ministry of Finance and Economic Development. Teabike College Phase 1 Project will assist Kiribati closer to achieve the KV20 Pillar 1 goal of improving the wealth of the people and the country as a whole. HVP Teuea also said the Kiribati Ministry of Finance and Economic Development will facilitate the implementation of these projects. No further information about the project is known.
