Project narrative

On April 11th, 2020, the Chinese government donated medical supplies to Vanuatu at the request of Vanuatu's government. The donation included 300 disposable protective clothing for medical use, 130 forehead thermometers, 2,000 N95 masks, 20,000 disposable surgical masks, 50 Coronavirus detection kits and 3 ICU ventilators. The supplies were delivered on a charter from China under strict observation of Vanuatu’s COVID-19 prevention measures and will be The items are stored in a secured storage as part of the quarantine process before being installed at the Vila Central Hospital (VCH) premises. The installation will be carried out by China Civil Engineering Construction Corporation (CCECC).
