Project narrative

Between September 2015 and August 2016, the State Council Information Office (国务院新闻办公室) and the National Library of China (中国国家图书馆) donated 438 titles (434 Chinese and 4 English) in 588 volumes of the Encyclopedia of China (中国百科全书) to the Cambridge University Library as part of the “Window to China” scheme.
