Project narrative

On March 16, 2021, Chinese Ambassador to Sri Lanka Qi Zhenhong met Sri Lankan Civil Aviation Director General and CEO Capt. Themiya Abeywickrama at the Chinese Embassy premises. On behalf of the Chinese Embassy, Ambassador Qi handed over 270 PPEs sets, 24,000 disposable face masks, 4,800 KN95 face masks, 120 goggles, 500 pairs of disposable gloves, and five SterilAmps to the Civil Aviation Authority for its airport frontline workers' protection against COVID-19.
