Project narrative

In September 2019, the Nanjing Municipal People's Government (南京市人民政府) and the University of Cambridge established the Nanjing Professorship of Technology and Innovation in the Department of Engineering at University of Cambridge. Daping Chu (初大平) was the first professor appointed to hold this leadership. This £10 million GBP-professorship was funded by the China deal.
