Project narrative

On June 2nd, 2022, to mark International Children's Day, the Chinese Embassy donated a variety of gifts to Glacis Primary School in a handover ceremony at the Embassy. The gifts, whose monetary value is unknown, included school bags, cups, Huawei bluetooth speakers, a football, a basketball, a guitar, toys, and books. Ms. Lina Pillay, the deputy head of Glacis Primary School was present at the ceremony. The establishment of Glacis Primary School was funded by the Chinese Government in 2013 and the school was officially inaugurated in 2016 (see Record ID#55801).
