Description

On September 20, 2021, the Chinese Government donated digital equipment and professional training assistance to help embargo-inflicted Cuba upgrade its state TV channels. The donation included two high-definition studios, a master control room, and training for Cuban state TV technicians from Chinese experts. The new digital technology provided by China equipped Cuba with a master control room with the capacity to transmit signals of 12 TV channels in unison if required. The monetary value of this donation is unknown.
