On November 15, 2021, Huawei provided a week-long training at the 2021 Industrial Digital Transformation Conference in Lilongwe. The Chinese Government provided funding for 50 Malawian students to attend the training. The training series provided information on communication technology and it was completed on November 22, 2021.
