Project narrative

In January 2019, the Chinese Embassy in Canberra donated a "costume of Mongolian ethnic group in China" to the Young Historical Museum (formerly Lambing Flat Folk Museum) in Young, NSW. The costume is on display at the museum for locals to view it. Museum representatives were presented the costume by Chinese Tourism Officer at Hilltops Council, Audrey Liu on behalf of the Chinese Embassy in Canberra. The financial value of the costume is unknown.
