Project narrative

On September 23, 2021, the Chinese Embassy donated USD $20,000 to the Seychelles COVID-19 Relief Fund. The purpose of this donation is to support the Seychelles’ COVID-19 response efforts. This was the third of the Embassy's financial contributions to Seychelles' COVID-19 fund. A handover ceremony was held for this donation. The Chinese Ambassador to the Seychelles, Guo Wei, handed the check over to the Seychelles Minister for Finance, Economic Planning and Trade, Naadir Hassan.
