Project narrative

On February 24, 2021, the National Health Commission of China donated medical equipment to the Health Care Agency of the Seychelles. The equipment included a ventilator and oxygen concentrator. The purpose of this donation is to support the Seychelles’ COVID-19 response efforts. The monetary value of this donation is unknown. A handover ceremony was held for this donation at the Chinese Embassy in the Seychelles. The Chief of the Economic and Commercial office of the Chinese Embassy handed over the equipment to Kathleen Cecile, the Deputy Chief Executive of the Health Care Agency (HCA).
