Project narrative

On June 8, 2021, the Chinese Government sent a shipment of 29 tons of anti-epidemic supplies to Venezuela. The supplies included 61 ventilators, medicine, masks, biosecurity suits, gloves, and protective lenses. The purpose of this donation is to support Venezuela’s COVID-19 response efforts. The monetary value of this donation is unknown. A handover ceremony was held for this donation at the International Airport of Maiquetia, otherwise known as the Simón Bolívar International Airport.
