Project narrative

On April 26, 2012, the Chinese Embassy in Australia donated an unknown quantity of Chinese books to the National Library of Australia. The books include beautiful printed works such as "The Collection of the Palace Museum," "China's World Heritage," and the "Atlas of Chinese Peking Opera Costumes." On April 26, 2012, the books were presented by Chinese Ambassador Chen Yuming and his wife at a handover ceremony at the National Library of Australia. The financial value of the donated books is unknown.
