Project narrative

In 2005, the Ma’anshan Municipal Government donated an unknown quantity of books to the Kogarah City Council, its sister city. The financial value of the books is unknown. This donation was initiated under a broader sister city agreement established between Ma’anshan City and Kogarah City in 2003. The purpose of the agreement was to "exchange and cooperation in science and technology, culture, sports, health, education, and economic and trade relationships."
