Project narrative

On August 11, 2010 Sinosteel Midwest presented grants totaling AUD 43,800 to local community groups as a part of its inaugural Resourcing the Region Sponsorship program. According to Sinosteel Midwest’s Community and Indigenous Relations Manager Rowena Roberts, "we’re looking to support initiatives which strengthen the community, build the capacity of youth through education, conserve the natural environment or contribute to Indigenous interests.”
