Project narrative

On October 25, 2022, the Chinese Government donated USD 100,000 worth of food, hygiene, and personal care items to El Salvador in the wake of Hurricane Julia. The supplies were delivered by Chinese ambassador to El Salvador Ou Jianhong. The Chinese government also donated wheat flour and fertilizer to those in El Salvador affected by the hurricane in November 2021 (see Record ID#97694).
