Narrative

Full Description

Project narrative

In 2013, the Nanning City Provincial Government donated $10,000 AUD to the Bundaberg Regional Council to restore the flood damaged Chinese Friendship Gardens located in Bundaberg's Botanic Gardens. The funds would be used solely to repair the Chinese Gardens, which suffered extensive damage in a flood. Bundaberg Mayor Mal Forman said the gift demonstrated the strength of the relationship between Bundaberg and Nanning, its sister city.
