Project narrative

On May 20, 2020, the Piraeus Port Authority SA donated a total of 10,000 protective masks and 10,000 gloves to the municipal governments of Peristeri, Petroupoli, Ilion, Aigaleo, Agia Varvara, Chaidari, Agioi Anargyroi-Kamatero. The masks and gloves will be distributed to the municipal cleaning staff of the seven municipalities to fight COVID-19. All seven municipalities are located in the region of West Attica. On May 20, 2020, a donation ceremony was held in Peristeri and was attended by Greek Alternate Minister of Foreign Affairs Miltiadis Varvitsiotis.

In 2021, it acquired another 16% stake, raising its interest to 67%. 2.
