Project narrative

In April 2020, the Changzhou Municipal Government donated 50,000 masks to the Tokorozawa Municipal Government to fight COVID-19. Tokorozawa is located in Saitama Prefecture. This donation came after Tokorozawa donated the 50,000 masks to Changzhou in February 2020. On April 13, 2020, the masks were received by the Tokorozawa Municipal Government. It was announced that 30,000 of the masks would be mailed to about 600 elderly facilities and facilities for the disabled in the city, 10,000 masks would be used by the Tokorozawa City Medical Association, and the remaining 10,000 masks would be used by city employees and firefighters. The financial value of the donation is unknown.
