On March 24, 2020, the Xinwu District Municipal Government donated 50,000 masks to the Toyokawa Municipal Government for COVID-19 prevention. Xinwu and Toyokawa have been sister cities since 2009. Xinwu District is one of five urban districts of Wuxi, Jiangsu Province, China.
