Project narrative

On March 18, 2020, the Harbin Municipal Government, a city in Heilongjiang province, donated 20,000 medical masks to the Asahikawa Municipal Government, a city in Kamikawa Subprefecture, for COVID-19 prevention. 3,000 of the masks were designated for medical use, and 17,000 were designated for general use. In early February, 2020, Asahikawa City used emergency medical reserves to donate masks and other medical supplies to Harbin. Harbin and Asahikawa are friendship cities. The financial value of the donation is unknown.
