On March 18, 2020, the Xiangcheng District Municipal Government shipped 50,000 masks to the Aichi Prefectural Government for COVID-19 prevention. The Xiangcheng District is one of the five urban districts of Suzhou, Jiangsu province, China. Jiangsu province, China has maintained a close friendship with Aichi since July 1980. The financial value of the donation is unknown.
