Project narrative

On May 21, 2020, the government of the Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region, China donated 10,000 masks and 50 sets of protective clothing to the Kumamoto Prefectural Government, Japan for COVID-19 prevention. The donated supplies were distributed to medical institutions in the prefecture. Kumamoto Prefecture and Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region signed a friendship agreement in 1982. The financial value of the donation is unknown.
