Project narrative

On April 28, 2020, the Sichuan Provincial Government donated 60,000 masks to the Hiroshima Prefectural Government for COVID-19 prevention. Hiroshima Prefecture and Sichuan Province signed a friendship alliance in 1984. The financial value of the donation is unknown. The donation was a part of a larger relief package assembled by the Sichuan Provincial Government and other organizations in Sichuan, China.
