Project narrative

On April 28, 2020, the Sichuan People's Association for International Friendship donated 4,000 masks to the Hiroshima Prefecture Japan-China Friendship Association for COVID-19 prevention. The Hiroshima Prefecture Japan-China Friendship Association is an exchange organization established when the prefecture and Sichuan Province signed a friendship alliance. The Sichuan People's Association for Friendship with Foreign Affairs is the Chinese counterpart of Hiroshima's Japan-China Friendship Association. The financial value of the donation is unknown. The donation was a part of a larger relief package assembled by the Sichuan Provincial Government and other organizations in Sichuan, China.
