Project narrative

On or around April 2, 2020, the Wuxi Municipal Government donated 2,000 masks to The Nippon Foundation for COVID-19 prevention. The donation was made in partnership with the Sony Corporation. The masks were to be used by The Nippon Foundation's "third place to be" initiative that seeks to combat childhood poverty. The masks were distributed to 12 of the organization's bases. The financial value of the donation is unknown.
