Project narrative

On December 19, 2020, the Chinese Government contributed USD 1,069,750 to the United Nations Children’s Fund (UNICEF) to support water, sanitation, and hygiene (WASH) interventions in Zimbabwe under the 2020 Zimbabwe Humanitarian Response Plan. The funding was allocated through UNICEF’s WASH sector program (SM190538) and aimed to improve access to safe water and sanitation, as well as promote hygiene practices among vulnerable communities affected by humanitarian crises.
