Project narrative

In April, 2020, Nihon Dokan received shipments totaling 5,000 KN95 masks and 67 medical goggles from the Chinese Taoist Association, the official government supervisory organ of Taoism in the China, for COVID-19 prevention. Nihon Dokan distributed the materials to Japanese medical institutions fighting COVID-19. On April 17, 2020, a package arrived with 2,000 KN95 medical masks. On the next day, April 18, 3,000 KN95 medical masks and 67 goggles arrived. Nihon Dokan is an organization founded in 1980 to spread Taoist teachings throughout Japan and the rest of the world. The financial value of the donation is unknown.
