Project narrative

On March 14, 2018, the Chinese Government provided USD 800,000 to the Government of Papua New Guinea to support humanitarian relief and recovery efforts following a major earthquake that struck the country in February 2018. The funding was reported through OCHA’s Financial Tracking Service (FTS) as a paid contribution for “humanitarian assistance towards earthquake relief and restoration.”
