Project narrative

On April 21, 2020, the Shizuishan City Municipal Government announced its intention to donate 12,000 masks and 60 infrared thermometers to the City of Hamada Municipal Government, a city located in Shimane Prefecture, for COVID-19 prevention. Shizuishan is a prefecture-level city in China's Ningxia Hui Autonomous Region. The masks were intended to be distributed to medical institutions and nursing homes. On June 5, 2020, it was announced that masks donated by Shizuishan were received and being distributed to the Hamada Medical Center. The financial value of the donation is unknown.
