On February 4, 2020, the Ezhou City Municipal Government, a prefecture-level city in eastern Hubei Province, donated 1,100 isolation gowns, 500 face shields, and 1,000 medical caps to the Sanjo City Municipal Government for COVID-19 prevention. Sanjo City is located in Niigata Prefecture. It is unclear if the supplies were ever donated. The financial value of the donation is unknown.
