Project narrative

On June 10, 2020, the Chongqing Municipal Government donated 330 infrared thermometers, 1,000 sets of protective clothing, and 5,000 N95 masks to the Mito City Municipal Government for COVID-19 prevention. The materials were intended to be distributed to medical and municipal facilities in Mito. 2020 marked the 20th anniversary of the signing of the friendship and exchange agreement between Mito City, the capital city of Ibaraki Prefecture, and Chongqing City. In January 2020, Mito City had donated 50,000 masks to Chongquin City for COVID-19 prevention. The financial value of the donation is unknown.
