Project narrative

On April 21, 2020, the Changshu City, Jiangsu Province Municipal Government donated 50,000 masks to the Satsumasendai City, Kagoshima Prefecture Municipal Government for COVID-19 prevention. Of the 50,000 masks, about 36,000 were to be distributed to medical institutions in the city. Changshu City and Satsumasendai City became friendship cities in 1991. The financial value of the donation is unknown.
