On November 13, 2019, the Liaoning Provincial Library of China donated 250 books to the National Library of Mauritius during a formal ceremony. The books were placed in the "China Corner" of the library’s Search Room. This cultural donation was intended to strengthen educational ties and promote mutual understanding between China and Mauritius. The monetary value of this donation is unknown.
