Project narrative

On 14 July 2016, Counselor Chen Zhihong of the Chinese Embassy in Mauritius donated a batch of reflective safety vests to the Western District Police Headquarters in Mauritius. The donation ceremony was attended by police officers, including Commander Lang Sahan. In his remarks, Counselor Chen thanked the Western District Police for their role in protecting the Chinese Embassy and Chinese nationals in Mauritius, and emphasized that with increasing numbers of Chinese tourists, the donation is aimed at ensuring police safety during night duty and enhancing security for Chinese citizens
