Project narrative

On May 27, 2013, the Chinese Consulate General in Karachi donated 250 sets of Chinese language textbooks to the Confucius Classroom at Cadet College Petaro, located in Hyderabad, Sindh Province, Pakistan. Acting Consul General Pan Qingjiang presented the donation on behalf of Hanban, while Professor Salim Sahto accepted the materials on behalf of the Confucius Classroom. The donated teaching materials, the Happy Chinese (Urdu edition) series, included student books, teacher’s guides, wall charts, and vocabulary cards. They were specially printed by Hanban to meet the needs of more than 200 new learners at the Confucius Classroom.
