Project narrative

In 2016, the Industrial and Commercial Bank of China (ICBC) contributed to a USD 199 million syndicated loan agreement for Chandra Asri Petrochemical. The syndication consisted of six known members, including ICBC, BNP Paribas S.A., Bangkok Bank, DBS Bank, HSBC Bank, and Siam Commercial Bank. Since the individual contributions of the six syndicate members are unknown, AidData assumes that all six members contributed an equal amount, USD 33,166,666. The loan will be used for refinancing and its borrowing terms include a seven-year maturity.
