AGTF agrees in principle to provide loan for Secondary Stormwater Drainage Programme

On November 3, 2020, an agreement was signed between the Government of Benin and the African Development Bank (AFDB). The AFDB agreed, in principle to provide a loan from the African Development Bank Group and a loan from the Africa Growing Together Fund (AGTF) to cover the cost of the Secondary Stormwater Drainage Programme, which is also known as the Support Project for the Rainwater Sanitation Program of the city de Cotonou (PAPC). It intended to draw upon the loan proceeds to finance the recruitment contract for a firm to carry out the financial audit for the 2021, 2022 and 2023 of the Support Project for the Rainwater Drainage Program of the City of Cotonou (PAPC).
