Project narrative

In 2011, the Zhoushan City, Zhejiang Province Municipal Government donated RMB 1.1 million (¥13.6 million JPY) to the Kesennuma City, Miyagi Prefecture Municipal Government for relief for the 2011 Tōhoku earthquake and tsunami. The donated funds were used to reconstruct the fishing industry in the city and to help earthquake victims.
