Project narrative

On April 20, 2016, the government of the Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region donated CNY 2 million to the Kumamoto Prefectural Government for 2016 earthquake relief. The funds were to be used for disaster recovery and reconstruction. On May 20, 1982, Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region and Kumamoto Prefecture became established a friendship partnership.
