Project narrative

On April 1, 2020, the Chinese Consulate General in Fukuoka donated about 6,000 masks to regional organizations to support international students during the COVID-19 pandemic. Masks were sent to the Kumamoto Prefecture Japan-China Friendship Association, Kurume City Japan-China Friendship Association, Yukuhashi Japan-China Friendship Association, Oita Overseas Chinese Association, Kyushu Overseas Chinese Literature Artists Federation, and other unspecified groups. The organizations were requested to distribute the masks to international students. The financial value of the donation is unknown.
