Project narrative

On February 26, 2020, the Chinese Ambassador to Burundi Li Changlin attended the handover ceremony of the multi-functional stadium of the Ministry of Public Security and Disaster Management. Melchiade RUCEKE, director of the Ministry of Public Security in Burundi, and Wang Yuan, political counselor of the Chinese Embassy in Burundi, attended the ceremony. The stadium will be used for sports matches and athletic competitions. The stadium was funded by the Chinese Embassy in Burundi and undertaken by China Geological Engineering Corporation.
