Project narrative

In November 2016, the Chinese Embassy in Fiji donated 40,000 FJD to the Fiji Ministry for Women, Children and Poverty Alleviation to assist with the procurement of equipment to be utilized in Age Care Homes. At the same handover ceremony, the Embassy donated a laptop and a Desktop computer that will be sent to the Mahaffy Girls Home in Fiji. This donation is a continuation of the Chinese Government’s support to the work of the Ministry. Previously, the Embassy has donated sewing machines and fabrics for various women’s groups in Fiji.
