Project narrative

The Chinese Government has dispatched 14 medical teams to Kuwait since 1976. The 14th medical team from Jilin Province consisted of 17 doctors and nurses — specialized in areas such as virus testing, infectious disease, respiratory disease, intensive care, and traditional Chinese medicine (TCM) — who were stationed at the Natural Medicine and Rehabilitation Hospital (also known as the Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation Hospital and the PMR Hospital) in Kuwait City. The team completed its term of service between September 17, 2021 and October 24, 2022.
