In April 2018, China National Aero-technology International Engineering Corporation (AVIC-ENG) donated schoolbags and meal boxes to the Sigithi Kindergarten in Matara. The donation was a part of the company's 2018 "Let Love Hold up the Future" charitable campaign that also involved a donation to the Lawris Girls’ Home (captured via Record ID#98671).
