On May 11, 2020, the Bank of China (BOC) Colombo Branch donated an unknown number of masks and thermometers to the University of Colombo (UoC) to be used for COVID-19 prevention. The materials were used by staff members of university's the Faculty of Arts. The financial value of the donation is unknown.
