Narrative

Full Description

Project narrative

On January 25, 2012, China's Heilongjiang province provided four master carvers to the Government of Alberta, Canada. The master carvers created three ice carvings, which were placed in front of the Calgary Chinese Cultural Centre between January 25-28. The carvings consisted of a dragon, a panda, and a bull. The carvers and their carvings celebrated the 30th anniversary of the twin province relationship between Heilongjiang and Alberta provinces.
