Project narrative

In 2017, the Chinese Government and the Government of Kuwait signed an agreement on the construction of a Chinese cultural center in Kuwait City. It is unknown how much money the Chinese Government committed to the project. On March 3, 2018, the Chinese Cultural Center in Kuwait opened to the public. The goal of the center is to promote China's traditional culture to the world, enrich the channels, forms and levels of foreign cultural exchange, promote cooperation in science and technology, and further enhance the mutual understanding and friendship between the Chinese and the Kuwaiti people.
